  • LOW-MAINTENANCE AND LONG-LASTING: Say goodbye to the hassle of maintaining a wooden fence and opt for our Metal Fencing instead. This fencing is made from high-quality rustproof metal that won’t rot, warp, or fade over time. It requires minimal upkeep and will provide years of reliable performance.
  • SECURE AND STURDY CONSTRUCTION: Metal and spear-top pickets provide a strong physical barrier that will deter intruders. The fence is also designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, ensuring that your garden remains protected year-round. Making it ideal for outdoor use.

The posts should be 1/3 the length of the post.  For example:

  • 6ft post = 2ft in the ground
  • 5ft post = 1.6ft in the ground
  • 4ft post = 1.3ft in the ground
  • Barrier fencing is typically used for cordoning off building sites and construction sites to keep passing pedestrians safe and for outdoor events such as music festivals or sporting events for crowd control.
  • Windbreak mesh is commonly used as wind protection, reducing wind speeds by up to 50% to protect nurseries, gardens, vegetable patches, allotments, and livestock.
  • Plastic mesh fencing is highly versatile with a wide number of uses, from climbing plant support and tree protection from rabbits, through to perimeter fencing and temporary pet enclosures.

Yes, believe it or not, they can. Opt for a fence that is over 6ft / 1.8m high, for the best chance of keeping them at bay.

Temporary fencing is designed to be quick and easy to install, so that it can be relocated easily.  Our steel fencing pins have been designed with a “shepherds crook” top to them to make it easy to attach the top of the barrier fencing to the pin.  Suregreen recommends a minimum of 1 fencing pin for every 5 metres when installing barrier fencing mesh, however, 1 fencing pin every 2.5m will give a better-secured fence if more time is available.
